World Statistics Day 2012

On the eve of the world statistics day, 19th of October, the National Statistics Bureau observed the day themed “Statistics for Development”. All around the world, 20th October is observed as the world statistics day to appreciate and celebrate the many contributions and achievements of official statistics.

The day was graced by the presence of Secretary of Ministry of Education Aum Sangay Zam, guest from international funding agency, members of the parliament officials from government office and students from the high schools in Thimphu.
