Pursuant to the Executive Order issued by the Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and with financial support from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the National Statistics Bureau (NSB) engaged SDG Data Focal Points from relevant ministries and agencies on 6–7 October 2026 to finalise Bhutan’s SDG Data Reporting Framework. The workshop focused on mapping SDG indicators, finalising the Terms of Reference for SDG Data Focal Points, and updating relevant and available SDG data to strengthen inter-agency coordination, improve data availability, and enhance the timeliness and reliability of reporting on Bhutan’s progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
